About The Course
Skoove is an online music course that is specifically dedicated to helping you master the piano. In this Skoove review, we’ll walk you through what the course provides, how much it costs, and whether or not it could be a good fit for you.
The intuitive design utilized by Skoove keeps track of your progress through lessons. This allows you to continually improve as the software takes note of what you’re doing well and where you could improve. This also includes personalized feedback that provides you with pointers after every play
In addition to this, Skoove also has qualified piano instructors on hand to give you one-on-one support when necessary. They can answer your questions about technique or theory and can help you to improve your overall performance. Skoove’s many happy users are proof that a virtual teacher can be just as effective as the real thing.

Who Is The Course For?
As stated above, there are courses available for all skill levels. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or you have been playing piano for years, there’s something on Skoove for you. It’s never too late to learn a new skill and this could be just the software for you. Likewise, if you want to sharpen your craft, this is a perfect way to get in some practice.
- PC
- Mac
- iPad
- iPhone
- All pianos and keyboards
The only one missing from this list is Android, which is not currently supported. We’re unsure if this is going to be resolved any time soon, but if not then there are still plenty of options available to Android users.
Skoove isn’t just for classical music enthusiasts, either. There is a huge variety of music available that you can learn from. This spans from chart toppers to the most niche of classical music. Whatever you want to learn, it’s likely that Skoove has you covered. You can even swap between genres to suit your taste.
There is even a feature that allows you to compose your own melodies to practice along to. If you are more the creative type this can be a great way to let your inner composer run loose. Skoove takes a holistic approach to learning, incorporating music theory, practicality, and composition into its practice.

Why Should You Enroll?
You should enroll with Skoove if you are looking to learn the piano and wish to improve your music knowledge at the same time. The two practices work in tandem to build your skillset, whether you’re a beginner or advanced.
Skoove is a sophisticated piece of software. Unlike other piano tutorial apps that focus solely on hitting the right keys at the right moment, Skoove goes beyond the basics. Through their special courses, you will learn the intricacies of hand placement and even develop your ability to play by ear.
Where other music tutorial services fall short is their inability to pair the theory with the practice in an effective form. Skoove doesn’t face the same problem. Practicality and theory are interwoven into your play sessions. You learn how to read music while playing your favorite songs, which helps to compound your overall knowledge.

How Much Does Skoove Cost?
When it comes to pricing there are two packages available for Skoove: free and premium. The free option can be thought of as a permanent free trial, in the sense that it costs you nothing at all but comes with limited features. The paid option provides you with everything Skoove has to offer and there are a variety of ways you can pay.
The Free Package
Features are scarce with the free package, which is somewhat to be expected. With this version, you get a total of 25 lessons to explore but you don’t gain access to any of the special lessons. You also aren’t able to make sure of the piano instructors or any of the monthly updated content.
This should be seen as a trial run for Skoove and
not a long-term service, as it doesn’t provide a true representation of what the software can offer. In addition to this, since there is a 7-day free trial available for the premium package, the free package is fairly obsolete.

The Premium Package
This is the paid option and comes loaded with everything Skoove has to offer. There are over 400 lessons for you to dive into and all of them are updated monthly with new content. You also gain access to the one-on-one instructor sessions, as well as the special lessons that cover hand placement and playing by ear.
Payments are sorted into three different levels:
- $19.99 per month for one month
- $13.33 per month for three months
- $9.99 per month for twelve months
The Advantages of Using Skoove
- A holistic approach to music teaching that covers both theory and practice
- Multiple pay packages available to suit your financial requirements
- An enormous array of lessons available (over 400!) that are updated monthly
- One-on-one lessons and feedback available from qualified piano instructors
- Accessible for both beginner and advanced players
- Promotes continuous improvement through its intuitive feedback system
- Modern interface that allows you to move at your own pace

The Disadvantages of Using Skoove
- Not supported by Android systems at present
- There is only one learning path you can follow, Flowkey might be better if you prefer more variety
- Complete sheet music is unavailable through the software, unlike Playground Sessions, which sells the sheet music along with each song
- Lessons aren’t adjustable, they are presented as is.
- If you are an advanced player you may want something more serious like PianoForAll or Learn And Master Piano
- or something more directed toward children like Piano Wizard
- Doesn’t cover some key musical concepts necessary to interpret advanced sheet music. Something like Piano Marvel which tests your sight-reading ability may be better
